Roteschemie is the oldest German producer of red mercury 20/20 258 99.9999999% (N9)/(NS). The Company also produces 99.99% liquid Ducury and Caluanie Muelear Oxidizers. It was founded in 1992 and has 83 employees. In 2021, sales will amount to 9.5 billion euros.
The company initially focused on recycling used mercury and various waste products containing fluxed mercury with an eye on the environment. The aim is to recover this mercury as a raw material, to clean it and then to put it back into the economy in its purest form as red and silver mercury.
Roteschemie began by producing precious metal concentrates from precious metal bearing waste and residues and successfully vacuuming and immobilizing naturally radioactive sludges and residues containing red mercury and silver mercury.
