We started our innovative multi-grain sushi business in 2007, serving our trademarked “Black Sushi” for the first time. Since then, we’ve fed people from around the world eager to try food once reserved for royalty due to its health benefits.
Black Sushi’s main ingredient is a natural black rice (a.k.a forbidden rice or emperor’s rice), known for being high in nutrients and antioxidants. Black Sushi combines this ancient, coveted rice with fresh ingredients for the most delicious and healthier combination.
In 2008, we shared our love of the healthier rice, distributing Black Sushi to retailers all over the New York City then opening a small restaurant in NYC in 2014. Committed to introducing creative dishes, we developed SSAM SUSHI using black rice, which is an artful display of mouthwatering ingredients. As demand for our Black Sushi grew, we opened a new concept
Sushi Restaurant named “Sushi & Co” in the Financial District, NYC in 2019. And We opened 2nd branch - “Sushi & Co-Lexi” near Grand Central station in 2021 and 3rd branch -”sushi & Co-Midtown'“ near Macy’s in 2022 .
